ActiveCaptain Takes a Fresh Look at the iPhone
=================================================
It's hard to believe the Apple iPhone has been around for more than 2 years. If you've read our Mobile Phone series, you know we had serious concerns with the original iPhone especially as a mobile phone for your boat. Well, we've been using our iPhone 3GS extensively on our current cruise and are pleased to report that some of the more objectionable shortcomings have been eliminated. When it comes to boating, "there's an app for that" on the iPhone now.

We've been working on updating all of the mobile phone series articles and with many days of rain last week, we were able to finally complete our revisions. Some articles have changed very little while some have been extensively rewritten such as the iPhone article. If you haven't looked at the award winning series, we urge you to do so. The series can be found here:

If you have read the series, you may want to take another look at the articles which have been extensively revised for the iPhone:

Where's ActiveCaptain Now?
===========================
Wondering where we are right now? We've been very pleased with the performance of our SPOT Satellite Personal Tracker device on aCappella. You can see our current position and most recent track at: http://tinyurl.com/ActiveCaptainSPOT

We've had a good time exploring the Chesapeake Bay, especially the Wye River, Crisfield, and Virginia areas which we have missed on previous cruises. We hope to begin our travels out of the bay this week heading to Brunswick, GA. Check out our location on SPOT and give us a holler if you're nearby. One of the best parts of this cruise has been meeting so many ActiveCaptain users. And if you want to know how Dyna and Dylan are enjoying their Chesapeake adventure, check out our blog:

We hope to meet you on the water!
